Will I Void My Car’s Warranty if I Take It to an Independent Shop?

I want to take care of my new car so I can keep the warranty.  Does it void my warranty if I have the maintenance performed at somewhere other than the dealer?

The simple answer is, “Nope!”  You do not have to have your maintenance performed at the dealer in order to retain your warranty.  You do need to keep a copy of your records in order to prove that you had the work done, but by no means do you have to have it performed at the dealership. To learn more, visit www.carcare.org
